Blacken Chicken Breast salad

Chicken Breast medium size Tomatoes Onions Lettuce Parmesan Cheese *Season your chicken breast with Grill Mates by McCormick (Roasted Garlic & Herb)* Heat skillet, add olive oil just enough to blacken the chicken, cook for 2 1/2 minutes on each side. Let chicken rest while you prepare the salad. Slice chicken place over salad, add your favorite dressing and parmesan cheese. This dish is very light, but filling at the same time. I use Paul Newman's Italian dressing goes great with this dish.

Banana Bread

In honor of my Mother's memory

April 20, 1942 - January 21, 2001 My cooking has been inspired by my mother. My mother cooked everyday, she always knew what she was going to cook before hand. Everything my mother cooked was homemade, never from the box unless you count a box of Duncan Hines Brownie mix. Well lets just say, her food was so good our friends in the neighborhood hung out at our house alot. Even my mother's sister's would stroll by just to see what their big sister was cooking. I remember family that lived near by, would come by on foot just to get a taste of my mother's food. I must say, my mother was a great cook, and I learned by watching her. My mother never measured, nor do I. Many have asked me to start a food blog, well here it is my first. I'm new at this, and plan to inhance my blog as time all...

Feed your soul as you do your body...

Man shall  not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Just as our bodies need food and nurishment, so does our souls. Our souls can only prosper by reading the word of God. Remember to read Gods word daily, for it is good for our soul just as our daily food intake is good for our bodies. -Blessings
