BossTon Gospel Artist on The Rise!

Urban gospel artist and ordained Deacon, Keedren Boston referred to as “BossTon” is making successful entry onto the gospel scene. BossTon, also known as “Mr. Not About Me” began his music career as R&B singer/ rapper but soon laid down the secular mic to pick up the cross. “One day”, BossTon says, “I woke up and realized that I could only remember darkness…It’s hard to see in darkness period, but there’s no darkness like being spiritually blind and that’s what I was.” This marked the beginning of a new and Christ centered life for BossTon. His freshman album and single entitled “Not About Me” quickly became his mission statement in his commitment to God and his ministry to Gods’ people.
BossTon is definitely known for his “out of the box” ministry amongst the people in his hometown of San Antonio Texas and also various other cities around the state. BossTon has been blessed to minister across the U.S. and also out of the country as well. He returned to England in April of 2010 to minister through music to the youth of the UK in part two of the "Christ Up Kingdom" UK Tour. He is also getting prepared to go to Ghana, Africa on a mission trip in September of 2010. Currently working on his sophomore album entitled “He Changed Me” BossTon feels led to write about how God has changed and delivered him from the ways of his past, and how God is able to do it again and again for anyone who will believe and accept Christ into their life.
BossTon is one of the realist and genuine people that you will ever have the pleasure of knowing and hearing, he is truly on a mission to see the souls of men and women saved and also to inspire and encourage those who already are, to keep the faith and to continue to trust in the one true and living God.

In honor of my Mother's memory

April 20, 1942 - January 21, 2001 My cooking has been inspired by my mother. My mother cooked everyday, she always knew what she was going to cook before hand. Everything my mother cooked was homemade, never from the box unless you count a box of Duncan Hines Brownie mix. Well lets just say, her food was so good our friends in the neighborhood hung out at our house alot. Even my mother's sister's would stroll by just to see what their big sister was cooking. I remember family that lived near by, would come by on foot just to get a taste of my mother's food. I must say, my mother was a great cook, and I learned by watching her. My mother never measured, nor do I. Many have asked me to start a food blog, well here it is my first. I'm new at this, and plan to inhance my blog as time all...

Our Family Trip To Garner State Park

Took a one day trip up to Garner State Park in Concan, Texas this past Saturday. The trip was awesome, the scenery was breath taking! My family and I took a Saturday drive on the country roads of Texas and had a nice time. We always travel with an ice chest with ice packs because of the awesome meat markets we come across while traveling through these small country towns. Can't wait to do this again, next time we will head out to Las Maples, Texas. Enjoy the photo's!
