Detroit Tigers I'm A Fan For Life And They're Going To The World Series AWESOME!

I see there are some "Tigers" on the prowl, and their going after the "San Fransico Giants" Can't wait, we're one day away from a battle on the filed!

PEANUTS......POPCORN......PEANUTS....POPCORN!!!

-Tigers lose to the San Francisco Giants, 8-3 in Game 1 of the World Series.
Pablo Sandoval of SF Giants did a tremendous job tonight, felt like I was watching the Home Run Derby!

-Tigers fall to the Giants in Game 2 tonight 2-0 Giants! The Series is now 2-0 Giants leading. We need the Tigers to start hitting the ball, now that they're going home to Detroit lets hope they will pick up 2 wins. We can do this Detroit Tigers, see you in Detroit!

My Tigers can't catch a break! It's not over!!! Tigers got swept away once again by the SF Giants, 2-0 in the 3rd Game of the World Series. Being a former Softball player as well as Baseball it's not over until it's over. Come on Tigers we can do this!

WOW!! I can't believe the whole thing, the Tiger's were swept by the Giants! I have to congratulate the SF Giants for a job well done. Unbelievable! Giants played like they wanted to win, and they did just that.

Next year Tigers, you still played some awesome Baseball this season!

I vividly remember getting on a chartered bus with all my neighborhood friends accompanied with adult chaperone's heading to Detroit from Ann Arbor, Michigan to many Tiger's Baseball games. As a youngster back in the day, I never knew the details of how all the neighborhood kids were able to go see the Tiger's play. Back then was one of my summer high lights I'd always look forward to, especially since I loved sports. I had a favorite baseball mitt that I would take with me to every game, and came very close to catching a Tiger's ball too. Well, let's just say some adults knows how to rip the ball right out your hands just to get their hands on a souvenir. One of the male chaperone's nabbed a Tiger's ball practically right out of my mitt! I was mad, but I didn't stay mad long.

One of my favorite players back in the day was, "Mark Fidrych" know as "The Bird" Detroit Tiger's pitcher.

I remember sitting with my grandfather known to me as "Grampa" watch the Tiger's play. Mark Fidrych was the biggest high light of the game, I would be glued to the TV just to see how many he would strike out.

Detroit Tiger's is on the top of my list for one of the best Baseball teams in the League today among many others.

I'm enjoying watching the Tiger's play in the playoffs, especially playing against the New York Yankees and the Tigers are winning!! Lets Go Tigers!!

Thanks to our daughter in this picture she won a Journalist writing contest with the Tigers and won tickets, with a suite and more. We were able to go out on the field while the Tigers warmed up! This day was so awesome!!

This Luncheon is also where the writing contest began, and she actually won. We had an awesome time with the team and staff.
