April 20, 1942 - January 21, 2001 My cooking has been inspired by my mother. My mother cooked everyday, she always knew what she was going to cook before hand. Everything my mother cooked was homemade, never from the box unless you count a box of Duncan Hines Brownie mix. Well lets just say, her food was so good our friends in the neighborhood hung out at our house alot. Even my mother's sister's would stroll by just to see what their big sister was cooking. I remember family that lived near by, would come by on foot just to get a taste of my mother's food. I must say, my mother was a great cook, and I learned by watching her.
